Borden Radio Company has acquired a number of these new old stock, totally unused, High Quality 4400 Ohm magnetic headsets. These headsets come with a six foot rubber covered cord and a 1/4" standard phone plug. They perform very well with our Cornell WW-II Foxhole Radio, our Crystal Radios, and with our Armstrong One Tube radio. They workvery well with any crystal or tube radio. The high 4400 Ohm Impedance allows crystal sets to tune sharper by not loading down the tuned circuit as much as regular 2000 Ohm headsets. These fine headsets were made in China in 1992 for military use in tough battlefield conditions. They are extremely well made and are very rugged and also sensitive. For really weak stations, the comfortable soft rubber cushions can be removed to get the earphones closer to your ears for increased volume. We clean these and thoroughly test each one before it is ready to go out. We guarantee them to perform as advertised.

BRAND NEW 1000 OHM IMPEDANCE MAGNETIC EARPHONES WITH 2.5 MM PHONE PLUGS AND JACKS!!

Brand New 1-K Ohm impedance Magnetic Earphones with 2.5 MM Plugs and Jacks. These earphones have a D.C. resistance of 530 ohms and an audio impedance of 1000 ohms. They work very well with our Armstrong One Tube Radio and have the great sound that only a magnetic earphone can produce. They work well with our crystal sets on local stations, but not as loud as our ceramic earphones on weak stations. However, the fidelity is very good. The only real drawback is the short cord. These earphones have a 17-1/2 inch cord. You have to be close to your set when you use one of these earphones, but their good sound quality makes it worth it.

These are the transformers that everybody in the crystal set world is talking about. These high quality transformers were designed by Bogen for PA systems in buildings where multiple speakers are used. A variable impedance matching transformer is needed at each terminal because of the varying number of speakers used in these custom installations. These high quality miniature audio transformers work well for matching low impedance headsets from low impedance to high impedance. They are a very good economical solution to your impedance matching needs. The Primary is center tapped 50K ohm impedance and 1.2 K ohm D.C. resistance. They are extremely loud and sensitive and will enhance the performance of any crystal set because of their near infinite impedance. Too low an earphone impedance will make a crystal set's tuned circuit tune broadly and with reduced volume. These flesh colored earphones are exact replacements (except for color) for the earphones on the old Rocket Crystal Radios and Miniature Germanium Crystal Radios.
